Chief Engineer
With 39 years of experience in the central Texas area, Keith Young offers civil engineering design and project management skills for public and private infrastructure projects from feasibility through construction. As Doucet’s Director of Engineering Services, he oversees all design efforts as to technical performance to ensure compliance with all appropriate governmental agency requirements and sound engineering practices. Mr. Young has designed infrastructure components such as water, wastewater, drainage, grading, roadways, water quality, detention and erosion control systems for major urban and suburban development projects. His duties include supervising conceptual planning and design; facilitating communications among clients, contractors and regulatory agencies; and establishing quality control of construction plans including completeness and cost efficiency.
