After graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, John Doucet spent the early years of his career managing complex public and private projects with large engineering consulting firms in Texas and California. During those years, he developed a vision for creating a different kind of engineering firm…one that placed an emphasis on collaboration, creativity and community among employees and clients. In 1992, he and Amy Doucet brought this vision to life with the founding of Doucet & Associates. Over the years, John’s technical expertise coupled with his personable and straight-forward style have helped draw top talent to the company and build an impressive client list. As Vice President of Operations, John is responsible for all civil engineering engagements and overall direction of the firm. John is a Registered Professional Engineer in the states of Texas, California, Louisiana, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts and is LEED AP certified.
