John Barnard is a leader in the geospatial sector with over 25 years of experience across a variety of markets including land development, asset transaction, energy and transportation. As Doucet’s Director of Geospatial Services, Mr. Barnard builds and leads teams to perform a wide range of GIS mapping, UAS data collection, boundary and right-of-way surveys, engineering design surveys, bathymetric surveys and construction control surveys for private and public sector clients. His expertise includes: the planning and execution of precise survey control networks over linear corridors; modern data collection techniques for topographic and existing conditions surveys; and the reconstruction and establishment of rights-of-way and boundaries. Mr. Barnard is currently serving the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors as chairman of the Cut-off Score Exam Committee and the Texas Society of Professional Land Surveyors as Past-President.
